NATURE'S WAY

Saint Paul, a city on the Mississippi River, is abundantly blessed with parks, lakes, gardens, and neighborhood greenery. In this section, writers and poets note the change of seasons, and the way nature provides healing and tranquility. These works also reveal our relationships with animals, both domesticated and wild. In addition, we learn how the migration of the monarch butterfly is a symbol for endurance and liberation in the Latinx culture.  And, in observing the sacred and vital waters of the Mississippi, we celebrate and honor the beauty of nature all around us.
